Dr. Robert Janothas been named Adjunct Professors with the University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO). The doctors have also partnered with the University of Houston College of Optometry Mobile Eye Institute to provide LASER glaucoma & LASER cataract enhancement procedures for their patients, on site at their Sulphur Vision Source office. As adjunct professors, Dr. Janot not only provide LASER services for their own patients, but also help train UHCO Student Doctors in Optometric Surgery. According to Dr. Marc Piccolo, Associate Dean for Professional Advancement & Executive Director of Surgical Services for UHCO, “It is our vision and our goal to have all of our students perform live surgeries on patients prior to graduating with their Doctor of Optometry degree. Thanks to the cooperative efforts of Dr. Janot and the other area ODs, we hope to make this happen.”

Lions Club: our doctors provide comprehensive eye exams and eyeglasses (if needed) for patients who qualify through the Maplewood and Vinton Lions Clubs.
